The scripts and programs I write come from my own need or
desire to create them. Once I have a running core app, I adjust the project for
interaction (GUI design, command line options, code and user documentation,
etc.) in an effort to make the project more user friendly.
This process takes extra time. This then all gets hosted off my own
website in a clean and concise manner for distribution to people like yourself.
While most (if not all) of my software is open source and
released under the GNU license (as freeware), I accept donations mainly for the following reasons:
